Northern Light

@ school Last Tuesday, November 17, during our science class, we watched a film about these lights. These lights are called “Northern Lights” or “Aurora Borealis”.

The bright dancing lights of the aurora are actually collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth's atmosphere

                            WHAT CAUSES THE NORTHERN LIGHTS?

The Northern Lights are actually the result of collisions between gaseous particles in the Earth's atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere. Variations in color are due to the type of gas particles that are colliding.

This is how it would look from above.

SCIENCE IS SIMPLY THE WORD WE USE TO DESCRIBE A METHOD OF ORGANIZING OUR CURIOSITY. :)

Path of Food

Eating is not merely a material pleasure. Eating well gives a spectacular joy to life and contributes immensely to goodwill and happy companionship. It is of great importance to the morale.

Everytime you eat is an oppurtunity to nourish your body. But how do food travels inside our body?

Last Tuesday, November 17, We the Grade9Faith and Grade8Courage together with our science teacher watched a film. The first film that we watched was about northern lights and the second film was about Cornel Bunz, who swallowed a camera-capsule.

Capsule endoscopy is a procedure that uses a tiny wireless camera to take pictures of your digestive tract. A capsule endoscopy camera sits inside a vitamin-size capsule you swallow. As the capsule travels through your digestive tract, the camera takes thousands of pictures that are transmitted to a recorder you wear on a belt around your waist.

So, this is where food travels inside us.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY. IT'S THE ONLY PLACE YOU HAVE TO LIVE IN. EAT HEALTHY FOODS SO YOUR BODY CAN ABSORB MANY NUTRIENTS!
